Steps to Set up Chromecast

Chromecast, developed by Google, a line of digital media players that looks like a little dongle.   • A display device like a High Definition Television (HDTV) is HDMI input.
  • Access to the available USB port on your HDMI-enabled display device.
  • Access to a secure wireless network.
  • 4 GHz 802.11 b / g / n Connection to wifi network.
  • A compatible Android or iOS device or tablet, or Mac, Windows or Chromebook computer

  • Windows 7 and higher

Set up Chromecast for Android 4.1 and later

  • Plug into the Chromecast device.
  • Download and install the Chromecast app on your Android device.
  • Be sure to read the launch app privacy and terms.
  • Select Accept.
  • Choose your chromecast.
  • Choose Chromecast SetUp.
  • Check that the code on your phone matches the code on your TV to see.
  • Select I see the code.
  • Rename your Chromecast, if you want by selecting the name of the set
  • Connect your Chromecast to your WiFi network.
  • Select Set Network

Set up Chromecast for iOS 7.0 and above

  • Download and support the ChromeOS app installed iOS device on your Chromecast.

  • Select Accept.
  • Next, choose a new Set Up Chromecast.
  • Exit the Chromecast app> go to your iOS settings> Wi-Fi> “ChromecastXXXX”

  • Make sure the code on your phone matches the code on your TV.
  • Select I see the code.

  • Connect your Chromecast to your WiFi network.
  • Choose Set Up.

Set up Chromecast for Windows 7 and higher

  • Download and install the Chromecast app from Chrome browser.
  • Launch the Chromecast app when viewing privacy and terms. Read it.
  • Select Accept.
  • Select your Chromecast from the list of devices.
  • Choose Set Up.
  • Select Continue to connect to Chromecast from your wireless network.
  • Confirm the code on your computer that matches the code on your TV.
  • Select my code as it is.
  • Next, select your home WiFi network and enter your password.
  • Select Continue.
  • Done!

Set up Chromecast for Mac OS 10.7 and higher

  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of Chrome So this is not the update.
  • Navigate to chromecast.com/setup from Chrome browser on your computer.
  • You need to set up the Chromecast from your computer in order to install the latest Google Cast Extensions.
  • The installation process is complete, to see n in the top right corner of your Chrome browser, you should see the Cast button that looks like this – Passive Cast Extension
  • Once you’ve installed the Google Cast extension, navigate back to Chromecast.com/setup and select “Set from this computer”.
  • Chrome will now look for the need to install Chromecast devices.
  • Select the device’s Chromecast name that matches the name you see on your TV. This will look like ChromecastXXXX.
  • Select my set up.
  • Go to your Wi-Fi menu and select the Wi-Fi network to match your Chromecast device name.
  • After that Select Next.
  • Set up chromecast set for Mac OS 10.7 and higher
